Tannaghmore Gardens sculptures

I really enjoyed these wooden sculptures at the entrance of Tannaghmore Gardens: it seems they’re all projected and carved by local artists but I couldn’t find more on the web about it.

The four with names of the elements (Water, Air, Earth, Fire) are all just sides of one sculpture.

The Kissing Gate

Ok, let’s keep calm and explain: if you are walking around with your boyfriend and you see a gate with written “Kissing Gate”, what would you do? Obviously you kiss at the gate.

If some days later you are searching information on the history of the place you have been (Tannaghmore Gardens) and you find this, is it ok to panic?

“Tannaghmore is also home to the Kissing Gate. Legend has it that couples who kiss over the gate will get married within a year. Couples who have their wish fulfilled often return to pose for wedding photographs.”

It was the 3th of September 2013. We’ll see what will be happened after a year 😉

Irish clouds

One of the things I love more of Northern Ireland are the clouds. The first time I’ve been here I passed ten days in an apartment in the centre of Belfast and I remember that once, staring at the sky from the balcony, I saw clouds passing very fast in the sky. They’re faster than in Italy, really. I could stay hours staring at clouds here.
